Silver necklace inspired by the Nobel Prize 2017 in Medicin.
The Nobel Prize was awarded to Jeffrey C. Hall, Michael Rosbash and Michael W. Young for their discoveries of the genes that control our biological clock. Among other things, the ‘timeless’ gene that encodes the TIM protein. A protein required for a normal circadian rhythm.
The jewelry shows the three-dimensional structure of the PAB domain of the TIM protein in 1 mm silver wire.
